Over the years we have partnered with many large multinational corporations to offer solutions that are both standard and customized to enhance productivity and protect the safety of their business. Once such company that we recently partnered with is Linde Gas Canada. With over 92 locations varying from customer store access as well as distribution centers. As well as a fleet of 200 plus vehicles ranging from pneumatic counterbalance in the store yards and stand-up end control, reach trucks and class III walkies in the distribution centers there is a lot of forklift accountability to monitor. Linde’s main objective was to partner with material handling dealers that could provide multi provincial equipment and service and to find a system that would allow the organization to track data on vehicle performance and safety. Moreover, the objective included the ability to capture the vehicle data and make it accessible to varying levels of management for the purposes of best-in-class vehicle productivity and safety.

• Utilizes a PC which serves as a protected data server (XBee Gateway).
• Real time display as events occur with the ability to archive and create customizable queries allows users the ability to identify trends and create reports.
• SMTP Mail Server that provides management with the ability to stay connected to select events such as failed safeties or high impacts through email notification. This allows required action to take place immediately upon occurrence.

With the roll out of the system in western, central and eastern provinces it allowed them to expand their knowledge of forklift fleet activity immediately. Giving visibility to their vehicles beyond simply repair costs at each facility. The system provides data that begins with the operator and covers both productivity and safety of the vehicle. The servicing dealers, both easily managed the purchase and installation of the SkidWeigh Plus ED3.
