Automatic Safety Check Recorder Does Not Compromise Productivity
We developed OSHAX as a failsafe method for organizations to manage and account for operator forklift pre-safety checks. In almost all states and provinces in North America there is a requirement to perform, record and store the results and finding of the pre-shift safety check. Still in this days and age of technology, the most common method of achieving the above is paper. However, with paper it is difficult, almost impossible to achieve 100% compliancy. This creates problems for the company when government inspections occur, and the rating assessed to the company. The result is the costly premiums levied to the company. All companies share the need to have safety check compliance. Thats why we created OSHAX to do just that.
One Trend that we are seeing is large companies with many locations nationally moving towards OSHAX to achieve 100% safety compliance. With the addition of OSHAX the audible and visual strobe clearly indicates to the operator that a safety must be performed. Furthermore, it also indicates to management and others that the vehicle has not had a safety done. Only when the safety is completed will the audio-visual alarm stop sounding. A large international gas supplier with a fleet of over 200 trucks uses OSHAX for just that reason. The system does not disable the truck therefore never compromising safety. Automatically notifies the operator when the safety is required and subsequently when it is done and how long it took. It stores all the information in the OSHAX’s SD for USB export. This simple but effective operational safety management system provides 100% pre-shift safety compliance fully automatic.
The system literally installs in approximately 1 hour with supplied universal install brackets, operational voltage from 12 to 48 VDC and just 2 wires, power and ground for integration with the vehicle. Installs on all makes and models of lift trucks and can even be integrated with aerial lift platforms and other material handling and construction vehicles. The system is an excellent way for commercial big box stores, multi locations with large, scattered fleets and anyone that must provide compliancy details pertaining to safety checks.
